It takes patience and discipline. Sometimes it can be tedious. Sometimes I want to quit... many times. But there's something about creating woodburned mandalas that hipnotice my self. It might be the smell of the wood, the inspiration within every movement and pattern created and the many dimensions of the subconscious I explore while creating intricate designs. There is a story behind each mandala. There's emotions, frustration, fears and joy. What keeps me going is the reward of looking at the final piece and feel the hours of energy exchange between me and the piece I created. It is a reflection of the soul, the knowledge and discipline. Once the journey is over I realize that every second spent on it was worth it.
